Tuesday 5th July - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first one up today! That's never happened!

Beautiful sunrise here in the hills this morning, can't remember the last one I saw that didn't involve being up all night. I hope it's a lovely day where everyone else is today as well :)

Short-ish list for me today:
- breakfast and supper from stores
- lunch provided because I'm on a course :)
- car pool with colleague to course to save petrol
- check online banking
- look for cheap dvd for the weekend (no idea what's out at the moment!)
- washing out on the line

Have a great day all!

    My list for today.

    - buy some reduced to clear fruit from the local grocers instead of full price.
    - do a couple of hours lionbridge work this evening
    - get at least one new ebay listing
    - ring the council tax people and ask them if I can defer a couple of payments due to cash flow - I'll have the money when new client starts, but it's still depressing not to make ends meet this month when I've been trying hard.
    - visit vivatic and onepoll
    - make sure the budget and spending diary is up to date
    - not get depressed!
