Remortgage application and previous arrangements to pay

I have 5 credit cards, of which 3 were on a arrangement to pay.
Now have paid one off, the other 2 back in line making the correct payments and no longer on an arrangement.
The other 2 show as a default on my credit report but have not missed payments and have upped them every 6 months.
currently live in a property valued at approx £290 - £300K with a £175K mortgage and have another property (inherited) valued at £300K with a £45K mortgage on it.
My question is we are looking to move, selling the property with the £175K mortgage on it and buying another property, keep the rental property as this gives me a rental income as well as paying off the outstanding mortgage. In light of my credit cards does this mean I will not be considered for a mortgage, no CCJ or debt collection agencies all dealt with the credit card companies directly.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Suggest you tidy up your financial affairs. As you have the money to do so. Before buying yet another property.
The late payments could well impact on which lenders will consider dealing with you.
So you may well pay the price in terms of the cost of the finance.0 -
thank you thrugelmir
I am waiting to speak to the card companies tomorrow and bring all of the cards back into line.
Our current home should (fingers crossed) sell soon if not we can rent it out.
I have some cash but not enough to pay all the cards off in full only to bring up to date and out of the arrangements to pay/default situation.
Once I do this would it look more appealing to lenders for our mortgage?
Thanks again0
