Power Station Wanted

...not one of those ugly big nuclear things

But one of the car power stations - basically a self contained rechargeable battery that can be used to jump start a dead car battery and car the car started.... they generally have a air compressor and 12v power socket.

A few years ago they were really popular and around £25, but I can't find any in that price range... Halfords for example is double that.

If anyone has seen these elsewhere then please le me know.... this is a xmas pressie so I can't resort to ebay unfortunately.

Aldi had them over the last week for £15ish, maybe call in to a store and see if they have any left.

Tried both Argos and Maplin... couldn't see them in Maplin and in Argos they are too much.

Aldi.... damn - I am in there everyweek and must have missed them....or like any of their decent stuff it sold immediately.

Thanks for your suggestion mate... but it was needed for a Xmas pressie so that counted out Ebay.

I did infact find one today... In Robert Dyas for £30 (with the compressor)...called my wife to tell her (the pressie is for my father in law)..... and she said.... "Don't worry I will give him the money" GRRRRRRRRR!!!

Why do I bother? :P
