Mortgage not included as it's cheating a bit.
If someone said you could cancel one debt, make good one bad money decision, which one would you clear?
Personally, It would be my car, I would try harder for a loan, I ended up having to get a car, then realising it was too expensive and dealing it back in, so now I have a car that is great but on 27.9% APR. Plus its the biggest sum of money too!
Disaster, what are your personal debt nightmares? Worst debt you have?

I wish I'd never taken out a £16K loan with Egg to consolidate my CCs. Less than a year later I was in even bigger trouble. I wish I'd found this website at the time instead of rushing into a loan. That's one mistake I won't be repeating!Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Other than MBNA, who I WISH I had NEVER heard of., I think BLAK HORSE Finance have got to be the one single WORST EVER CREDITOR. I had a Car Finance agreement with them and only found out that it was 'unregulated' when I asked them for help.
They made my life (before I came accross this forum) ABSOLUTE BL**DY HELL   :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Having a student overdraft, it set the pattern for most of my life until last year when the bank cancelled my overdraft and dropped me in it. But I've had to spend the last year with just a cash card and its made me think more about spending so at least I've learnt now.0
