Duvet Cover Popper Size Help!

Options
One of those stupid plastic poppers doesn't fasten on a brand new duvet cover I've just purchased.

Instead of sending it back what press stud mm size would people recommend? I'm thinking of purchasing those metal sew on ones.

Thanks.

    That's happened to me too.

Sorry I can't help you on the sizes of poppers but my most sensible duvet cover has some ties along the bottom. If you can't find what you're looking for you could always sew on ribbon ties or a bit of velcro?

Is the popper at the end of the row - if so, just stitch it closed.

If you really want to sew on another press-stud ( just wondered whether one missing one is crucial???) I'd go for a reasonably big one, rather than those fiddly tiny ones. Just pop the duvet in, do up the others and see if anyone will really notice a gap first. (Can you tell I'm naturally lazy?)
Another alternative would be a couple of strips of velcro.

    Thanks Everyone

I will see how it goes on. Quite fancy the idea of sewing on some ties. I also have some covers with those on and they are great.

It's a Sanderson one too. I would have expected something more substantial given the price and quality - purchased in 1/2 price sale.
