    Hi

Sorry but on your salary (around £13,500?) absolutely no chance of a loan of £10k. People are struggling to get new credit taking them above 50% of their income, you are already at that level with your existing debts.

What did you want the extra £2500 for? (in case people can suggest other possible options or ways to help you).

the extra was to have a bit put by to sort the new flat and to get passports sorted,to go see my family back in france .also we could do with a second hand car not on finance.

    Wow!

You have moved by the sea, want to have "a bit put by", spend on your flat, get passports, go on holiday, buy a car ............

It all sounds lovely until you realise you would be doing all of this on credit!

To make matters worse you already have a lot of shiny new credit with not much payment history and I imagine your relatively low wages disappear on monthly living costs.

Please don't get yourself further into debt and don't be tempted by anyone who offers credit at at the higher interest rates you seem not to worry about.

This really is a recipe for disaster. Perhaps try and see if CAB can give you some free advice.

No chance I'm afraid. You are already way over what you should have, and cannto afford a loan of 10K. I think you need to focus on getting those debts cleared off before thinking about holidays and cars.
  • Why don't you pop over to the Debt Free Wannabee board and post up your Statement of Affairs over there? They can help with ways to reduce your outgoings.

When you sum it up so succinctly and precisely as you have, in the cold light of day - it makes you wonder why people think taking a loan is such an easy seamless thing to do.

Yes - go over to the debt free board and post up a full statement of affairs and see where you can save money on your outgoings.

Where did the £5k loan go? You also have cc debt of £2.5k so clearly cannot manage your money.

You need to think about cutting back so that you can meet your commitments on what you earn - getting another loan will not solve anything it will simply put you further into debt.

Have a think about how you can increase your income - second jobs - bar work, taking in ironing, hedge cutting, dog walking etc. etc.
