Maybe look directly on hotels website before booking. They have offers directly on them that may suit as well. The ibis is only £25.50 direct and you get breakfast half price at £3.75 each making it cheaper than this offer of you wanted breakfast for 2 (and not really anywhere nearby to get it).

Lots of people seem to be wanting us to look at this Leeds website offer across these boards today!

I would also look at the trip advisor reviews. The Met used to shift rooms through a lot of last minute discount sites at a decent price.

The park plaza often has rooms for under £40- search for individual night prices and is in a decent location.

The malmaison has a fab Sunday night offer in Leeds where you spend in the bar/restaurant and get the room from £10.

Well I can assure you I don't work for them! I was the first to post last year when no-one else did. I would imagine a lot of people signed up on the back of that as I got a lot of thank yous. I have just booked 42 the Calls which I have been wanting to stay at for ages and have never seen for less than £70 -80 a night. At £20.11 it's a steal.

Admittedly the selection of hotels isn't as good as last year. If you miss out on this try the Mint (not in the offer but generally has good rates). I have stayed in 20+ hotels in Leeds and it is fantastic value.

But it isn't £20.11 a night when you read the offer. That is the price of a second night after you pay a certain price the 1st night. The price for the 1st night is higher than the price on their website for the date I looked. The 2 nights together may be cheaper than 2 nights with the hotel booked direct (not sure) but if you want dinner, breakfast or just one night I would look on the hotel website first to check this deal is right for you.

Paid £100 for two nights. As their prices are stable at £70-80 and they don't do "deals" in the same way as other hotels, am well pleased. I am not stupid and do read T and C, and I do know hotels in Leeds. I do appreciate that you are trying to help ppl avoid pitfalls but possibly overstating the point?

I wasn't suggesting that you did or I would have spammed you!

The calls for 2 nights is probably tne best of the deals but if you want breakfast both days the price is not much better than booking with the hotel and they have more choice of nights etc It's a while since i stayed but breakfast was great but hotel breakfasts are not cheap. The bestboffer is the dbb through the hotel. I dont see that you would stay there are not have breakfast as it's part of the experience - if you just want a room then might as well go to a budget hotel.

You will like it. You should have dinner.

City Inn (mint) has declined in quality and risen in price. It was pretty awful at the weekend last time I stayed in late March. I still stay midweek and use it for events but no longer stay at the weekend. Big issues with breakfast, double charging, drunken guests roaming corridors, stained towels,

Ok well maybe we should agree to differ but stayed there last weekend for £65 inc breakfast and had a mint (lol) time. Best hotel breakfast I have had and love their rooftop bar. See reviews (including mine) on Tripadvisor.

I have spent many weeks staying there. Used to be really good but it needs a bit of tlc. Colleague had hole in door, I have had broken toilet, broken aircon, Very dirty carpet, leaky fridge and towels covered in lipstick in past few months.

    It's just showing it's age I guess.
