they were fake, i have seen the real versions growing in my street though, its one stalk with that big bloom on the top, we joked that we would only need one per girl and should swoop by the garden the night before with a pair of scissors! lol
so when we saw some fake ones at the garden center we snapped them up!
i will try and find out the name of the real flower for you though.
