Save time and money by understanding the concept of blame,
If you try to take a cabin bag on to a Ryanair flight that's too big or heavy and they charge you - it's your fault.
If do don't allow time for unexpected delays and arriving at the airport late are denied boarding - it's your fault.
If they don't let you on the plane because you couldn't spell your own name on the booking - it's your fault.
If you find out a couple of days before you travel that your passport is out of date - It's your fault.
If you're 'ripped off' for Euros at the airport because you couldn't be ars*d to get them before -It's your fault.
If you natter on about nothing on your mobile whilst abroad and get a big bill - it's your fault.
If you get valuable but prohibited items taken away by airport security - it's your fault.
If you're told check-in closes 40 mins before a flight and you arrive 39 mins before and are denied boarding - It's you fault.
If you travel abroad and don't like the food because it's 'foreign' - it's your fault.
If you leave only 30mins between flights and miss your connecting flight - It's your fault.
If your old cheap grossly over-filled suitcase splits during 'airport handling' - It's your fault.
If you change your mind about a booking and don't get all your money back - It's your fault.
If they won't give you your hire car because you don't have the paper part of your licence - It's your fault.
If you have to sell your house to pay for healthcare because you had no travel insurance - It's your fault.
If you're denied an insurance payout because you 'forgot' to tell them something when applying - It's your fault.
If your passport application is returned because you used a red background on the photo - It's your fault.
If you're clobbered for medical charges in the EU because you didn't carry your EHIC card - It's your fault.
If the police in mainland Europe catch you exceeding the speed limit and impose an on the spot fine - It's your fault.
If your unruly child gets boll*cked by the passenger in the seat in front - It's your fault.
If you sit in 'my seat' (1A) on Ryanair and I 'accidentally' stamp on your foot - It's your fault.
I hope this helps.

We had that in Bangalore for a flight to Trivandrum. I asked the booking agent at Yatra if it was enough b4 hand, they said "no Problem", I wasnt so sure.
Amazing, we had 10 mins to spare. Flight left on time.0 -

Glad you didn't miss your flight, glad nobody was to blame.
(Lucky though)
We had a flight from Kolkata to ...... I forget where, that left 40 mins early - the very second the gate closed.0 -
I dont think it would have been a big deal if we did. The Indian airlines are happy to share passengers and help each other out re overbooking and missed departures etc.Bob_the_Saver wrote: »Glad you didn't miss your flight, glad nobody was to blame.

For a supposed 3rd world country, they seem to have got their rail, bus and air pretty sorted.0 -

I get my Euros at the airport and have never been 'ripped off'. The foreign airport that is - from an ATM.
If you get them in the UK before you go then you've certainly been ripped off

Would agree to a point but their railways !!!
I book on the internet but Indian railway booking halls
Delays on trains that have already travelled for 36 hours
Point to point return trains (Bangalore - Mysore - Bangalore) for example are usually OK but the long distance express trains, especially during the monsoon
I never fail to be amazed at the buses though, you go to the bus stand, there is the bus, you get on - It leaves, eventually it arrives.0 -

Warning ---it is a bit 'shocking'!
It say's that the Indian train travels at over 100mph :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
over 40mph would be pushing it.0 -
Also...
If someone you've never met pays you to take a package out of Cambodia or Thailand and you end up serving life in prison (or worse)... it's your fault.0
