Boddy Loads of drama round yours then
Best we've had this year is a car fire up the road.
Bath is leaking, kitchen was flooded when I come down from my bath, all through the wall cupboards, the bench, the bottom cupboards and the floor  council informed online, they'll phone me in the morning to make an appointment, this is an ongoing problem that's been happening since I moved in, on and off. They never fix it properly.
So, that side of the kitchen has been mopped up and dried. So the cupboards are all clean anyhoo *silver lining* an all that.
ETA: Council phoned me! Had to book an appointment but the earliest one was 22 July, not allowed to use the bath. OMG! are they having a laugh.0 -

DS2 came home from school and decided he would be really nice and do the dusting for me. Didn't have the heart to tell him I'd already done it. Now had to re arrange the ornaments as he moved them all about

I was supposed to start yesterday...
Rain most of today. Went shopping in Totnes and found lots of lovely things. And two fabulous houses that would be in my price range if I sold up and moved down here... Should really go for a walk but lying on the sofa all afternoon eating pringles has made me feel lethargic and sick
Where is my motivation? I really do need it back...0 -

Thanks for the welcome homes, does feel like home here. Jill I see you've come back today too
Dusty the boys are great thanks, we've nearly survived year 7 mainstream and thanks to school finally dealing with a bully he's so much more settled and they see no reason for him not to stay
Well I suppose this is the point I dare admit I've been ripped off well and truly by a 'friend' who I was trying to support and threw a lot of time at. Currently adding up the cost, several thousand but hey we live and learn so this is why I've not been about much as the BD grabbed me big style as I felt let down and stupid. Getting there now. Funds tight but trying to stay positive I've got through worse. I've had to back out of one OU course for now and a few other things but I'm ready to start again now without the ADs the GP pushed at me.
Boddy I seen your post, gas scares the living darlings out of me I'd have been in bits!!
Right today some pretty heavy meetings, presenting stuff to psychologists which makes me twitch but all done and went great.
Came home and tidied kitchen, decided a philips air fryer I bought is crap value for money so under the 60 satisfaction guarantee I'm sending it back, getting a halogen oven which does as much as I need for £100 less! Sold some car parts on eBay so that pays for cinema tomorrow and going to use orange Wednesday passes. Living room list now done too. Kids in bed.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I've done nothing job wise today
I had to take cat to vet to have her abcess sorted, then drop DD1 off at her work experience. DD2 was off school but still had to take her to the orthodontist. Didn't get on to well there as DD is not wearing her retainer all the time
Had the counsellor this afternoon so didn't feel like doing anything after that.
Just off to pick DD1 up from her boyfriends then I'll do a few bits everything else can wait til tomorrow0 -
Kids all fed and watered, online food shop done, Rhys now in bed and hopefully will stay asleep until the morning. Hubby talking about camping tonight with DS1 but we'll see how things go.
Hopefully when i get the other 2 to bed i'll crack on with the kitchen, i have to have it done tonight before my food shop comes tomorrow morning.
Lovely to see you back JillD and lil_meSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Reminds me of when I had to wear a brace at night (not sure if it was a retainer) as it was designed ti pull my lower jaw into alignment with the upper jaw. I hated it with a passion and after a previous check up I didn't wear it once. The dentist asked on the next visit if I had been wearing it 'yes' said I, he then measured the gap and said I was still making good progress = brace ditched FOREVER :rotfl::rotfl::o
Just checked all our syndicate tickets, I always check how they have performed over last 180 days irrespective of whether I have played those numbers all the time. Nearly fell on the floor when I thought one LD set would have won £127k in Jan  (ticket played in May) then I realised that we didn't have the bonus ball and would 'only' have won £2k!!! As it is we have won nothing :rotfl:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
