Sainsburys chocolate spread with popping candy!

Found this in Sainsbury (own brand) and persuaded to buy it by my son who was with me.
It's not on special offer or anything (£1.69 a jar), but is such a wierd, but rather lovely thing - definately worth a go! It made me nostalgic for the 'space dust' that first came out in the 1980s!
We had it on warm crumpets, but I can also imagine it as filling for a chocolate sponge cake - or topping for fairy cakes.
Any other ideas?

How about as an ice-cream sauce? The Crunchie lollies have popping candy in their chocolate coating and they're lovely.0

Asda do a Banoffee spread also chocolate and caramel spread, which my son loves, both @ £1.18Saving as much as possible to replace all the things I've had years and are on their way to the knackers yard :eek:0

Sainsburys also do an orange flavour spread too, the popping candy is quite nice, it pops but not ever so much. Bet it would be nice in a cake. Also noticed other day that nearest sainsburys have started selling teh 3 spreads which means i dont need to go to anotehr store.0

The new chocolate spreads by Sainsbury's include Popping Candy Chocolate Spread (GBP1.69); Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chips (GBP1.59); Chocolate Orange Spread (GBP1.69); and Coconut Chocolate Spread (GBP1.69).
Sainsbury's Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chips is packed with peanuts and dark chocolate chips. Sainsbury's Coconut Chocolate Spread is blended with Indonesian coconut, while Sainsbury's Chocolate Orange Spread is a classic chocolate and orange combination, the company said.
