Updated Printable Money off Coupons & Policies Thread 20 (and chat)

Hi all, after trawling the coupons forums for several weeks I finally printed a few off last night and am pleased to report I visited Tesco today armed with a plastic wallet of coupons and reduced my shopping from £51.42 to £21.17 :j

Isn't it great! Trouble is it gets so addictive.:) I've spent hours on the internet determined to find a new coupon I can add to here- nothing yet:(

I think its the pc themselves... aI think that after printing a coupon from coupon printer a memory thing is kept in the program so u cannot print anymore..u need to use another pc..
or maybe reformatt the pc..

Good morning everyone

Forgetful is correct, once you print a coupon the coupon "remembers" what you have done and won't let you print more.

The oldies on here get around this by a number of methods.

1 - having more than one computer, most peeps have 4 or 5 computers/laptops
2 - using a works computer
3 - using a friends or relatives computer
4 - if the computer needs a re-format it will usually let you do a re print.
5 - get some coupons sent to you by post.

I suppose you can get old laptops on freecycle sometimes, as long as they can connect to the internet but then you have to have the right leads to get them connected to your printer .... Sounds a bit of a faff.

Far better if promoters and manufactuers went back to using old fashioned paper and card coupons put through the door with local newspapers, given out in supermarkets, on pads on shelf edges, in the newspapers and magazines, through direct mail etc. Then all the supermarkets that have problems with print off MOCs would have less to worry about

Agreed, had a look around on google last night, and it seems IP has little or nothing to do with it. It is more to do with registry files and other hidden files on your PC. Each Computer is given a unique ID umber which is printed around the edge of each coupon in tiny writting. This number is sent to the coupon printer and tells them how many you've printed. (some people have said this is made up of your motherboard, sound card and other, internal compartments, as someone in america wiped the PC clean but still would not print more, did the same again, but changed sound card and it worked.) It is the same software used as the americans as I tried to print out from an american site and it worked without installing anything new.

I have 3 computers at home and 2 at my dad's, tried taking laptop to dads and wouldn't let me print more, so defo PC not IP.
