I went for 2 pairs in different sizes in the end and got an email today to say they havent for one of the sizes (uk 11)) so would only be sending one pair out. Think they willbe too big for a while!
Given that her 'cheapo' £8 tesco sandals ripped to bits today from the front after one week I then also ordered 2 pairs of clarkes sandals from another site - for £25 for 2 pairs inc postage.
I think i need to stick to 2 pairs of footwear and then only buy quality shoes that will last until she needs the next size up. Cheap shoes are a big mistake!!!0 -

They are hard wearing but maybe not for riding bikes and using the front of the toes to stop etc- don't know if any shoes can cope with that:j. My daughter wears her crocs for outside playing in the summer (again easy to clean) and her wellies in the winter.

Thanks she generally uses her brakes to stop but I think she isn't fully stopped when she jumps off. Ooh don't know what to do. £25 is a lot if she was to trash them in a week!Kyle 03.04.04

Do they come up big or smallish fitting? Just wondering whether I need to get DD's current size which is 12.5 or go one bigger to the 13?
She has always wanted a pair!0 -
From my experience they are very hard wearing. DD had her first pair last year and wore them everyday until she grew out of them and now has the same style in the next size up. DD2 has a pair and some additional needs. For some reason all other shoes including clarks make her fall over, she can only wear Lelli Kellys and hers have been fab. Really look fine still. I was advised to get the next size up when we went to get them in the winter sales as both my girls have wide feet and they come up quite narrow.
Thanks OP I have ordered DD2 her next size up pair0 -
Splendid! Bought her Lelli Kellys from this sale for the last few years, have got her a pair of white beaded party shoes and some sandals for next summer for £55 for two! Cheers OP!Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0

Sucker for these beautiful shoes. I got a couple of pairs, thanks OP.
I don't think they are as durable as Clarks shoes to be honest. Last year I bought DD a pair of glittery trainers and the shimmery and glittery bits fell off, there is no way I could sell them onto someone else and they cost me £45, I'd not buy that sort again. I pay £25 for Clarks shoes and trainers though so I've paid the same again. If you want durable, have a look at Next, got DD a pair of leather school shoes for £12 in the sale and was surprised how well they fitted her slim feet. I'll be buying Next again, they have lasted far longer than her Clarks shoes ever did and do not come with some fancy toy which bumps the price up by £5.0 -
Thanks bought a pair for my three year old, her birthday end of the month so she will love them. Went for next size up too.:j'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0

Glad to hear they are a slimmer fit as my DD has very narrow feet and its usually a nightmare trying to find shoes to fit. Clarks never seem to have the "E" fitting canvas/trainers only school shoes!0

I know what you mean, and there will only be a few styles to choose from as she is an E too. I have always had trouble getting her shoes but the 'standard' sized ones fit her in school shoes, I;ve not tried others http://www.next.co.uk/girls/school-shoes if you want wider shoes that option is there.
I love Lelli Kelli sandals because the front adjusts too so she gets a decent fit but they do live in Crocs, they are big but never seen to be an issue. Weird. Croclings are brilliant but they only seemed to do them for a few seasons, they fit better.0
