Hi,
During 2009, I was made redundant and subsequently claimed on my PPI to cover payments on my loan for 4 months.
I got a new job in Jan 2010 and notified my PPI providers to cease their payments, which they did. Since then, I have made all the payments in full and on time.
From looking at my credit score, for the period where my PPI covered the payments, it gives it a "U" classification. However, I have noticed that this has continued to date, rather than reverting back to green.
I have contacted my lender and I am waiting for ththat get in touch but what I would like to know in the meantime is, will this effect my credit rating negatively?? Do I have grounds for a complaint?

U usually means not updated it wouldnt have an effect on credit as its usually the same as green or 0.0

If your looking on Experian theres a little key attatched that explains what each symbol means. It does just mean that it wasnt updated, contact the company your getting the credit info from and they can set it straight or explain more.0
