What a spendy day for me but I was expecting it to be that way. It turned out to be a gorgeous day after all. There's still one more day left in July - how many of us are going for it?
See you tomorrow
Meeee pp for one, no intention of spending tomorrow, so going for broke this month!!:D (aided somewhat by the fact that I can't leave the house because I can't put a shoe on over my toe... oh well, there have to be some benefits, I guess:D

Hi everyone
Just popping by to say that I managed my 16 NSDs for July (just) However my cupboards are filling up nicely and the sales did get in the way otherwise I would have managed more. I didn't buy anything that i won't use though and it was all good quality so should last.
I hope everyone hit there targets and are feeling ready and raring to get on with the August challenge
Have a good weekend everyone
Cuddles:)
Sept Turtle 5/16 NSDs
Sept PADs £2150 -
I shall not use the f word, but have not met my target.:o
Still 16 NSDs out of 17 is not to be sniffed at....
Much preferable to a slap on the face with a wet fish,as we Scots like to say!
One happy marmite here
Hope you're all enjoying a lovely sunny Sunday!0 -
Darn it Marmite - just caught your post - OH has sprung for a new kettle. Its a thing of beauty!;)
However, the old one is in the box to go to FreshStart. It's a local charity who make up starter packs for folks who have been homeless and are starting out in their first home. They collect second hand household items such as crockery, cookware, bedding etc ect and they also have a team of volunteers who test and refurbish small electricals such as toasters, kettles etc.
I have a load to take down next week - assorted crocks, glasses and towels.
Oh that's a shame Spoon,;) you will HAVE to rest now!;)
You know, when I decided to just heat water on the cooker and put the kettle down in the cellar,I did look at getting one of those kettles that sits on the hob.Years ago,I had one,but gave it away...
A hob kettle would cost me about 60 francs.I haven't found a cheaper one.It seems ridiculous to buy one, when a pan will suffice!
It would be like throwing money away.I suppose I could ask for one as a Christmas present.....:cool:0 -
Spoon sorry to hear your toe still swollen but pleased it means an extra nsd hope you're not hopping around for too long toes are so sensitive
Beanielou hope your face feeling better could of been so much worse had it been winter
Apart from a migraine yesterday and failing, (yes it is allowed) the inspection i think july has been fairly good to us i've got a very tidy living room so tidy it looks empty lol kitchen not so good full of dishes why is it teenagers are great at using every mug plate and dish but useless when it comes to washing them up:mad: i'm thinking of hiding some so they will have to wash up mmm where to hide them ???
I've got til end of August to sort the rest of the kitchen all it is is a pile of clothes that we didn't get chance to finnish sorting so tich just put them all in kitchen so looked like a pile of washing at least oh well some people are so fussy not me clean yes but not ocd yet did that with ex and when i decided enough was enough i seem to have got stuck in the middle i need it tidy and safe and clean but not like before oh well i'll get there eventually, met the lady from the domestic abuse place she seems really nice tich liked her so thats good so did my son i have to phone her next week to let her know what i'd like to do group or one on one so that might help
oh yes and before i forget another nsd for me today so am declaring 19 nsds for july :j
