Sainsburys Hock used to be a good one, it was about £8.50 then (say 5 years-ish ago), not sure what it would be now but it's certainly reasonable compared with most of the others.

to be honest, you;d be better going for the offers of 3 for a tenner, they are usually pretty reasonable wine.

Any box of wine under a tenner is usually cheap crap.

If you insist on boxes the Namaqua red or white at about £14.50 is decent wine.

Depends what your taste in whin is really.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Lol I assumed it was for a "bop 'til you drop" type party with plastic glasses and nibbles. If it is a dinner party, or entertaining the boss, maybe something a bit more upmarket would be in order.

As the OP specifically said "boxes", I'd imagine it might be a matter of quantity over quality! :D

I've been buying Baron St Jean red wine from Aldi, it'd £2.99 a bottle. It's really nice they do a white one as well at the same price

Thank you all. Its for a christening bbq/Buffet I just thought boxes of wine would be safer with little ones running about. x
