There is the mellon country inn on far side of folk park which is good or there is a restaurant on Omagh side of town -Sperrins which is good either:beer: Enjoy!!0

I'd recommend the Silverbirch hotel on the Gortin road and would also recommend a quick look at the hygiene ratings on Omagh District Council website0
-
I would not recommend mellon as it received 3/5 on the food hygiene system, pretty poor when you consider some of the chipies do better.0

Just wondering did you have a good day at folk park and did you find somewhere nice to eat?0

When you take it that Paul Rankins Cayenne in Belfast only got a 1, The Mellon's 3 dosen't seem that bad!
We have eaten at the Mellon before and it was fine, though to be honest I gave up looking for somewhere good for lunch in Omagh and usually just settled for a M&S sandwich - eating out in Enniskillen is much better, or the Woodhill in Irvinestown is hard to beat for a good feed!!!DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -

Had a great meal - 3 courses followed by coffee / tea and two large soft drinks for £42. The food was fantastic too.0
