Nokia E7 Won't Connect to 3G

Hey everyone.

I won a Nokia E7 through a competition. I received it the other day and it's a great phone, but I have one issue with it. :o

It's won't connect to 3G or Edge. A box at the top with come up saying "connecting to O2 web", and then will say "connection failed". Wifi works fine and I've tried switching off WLAN in the hope that 3G will kick in but it hasn't.

I have enough credit and 3G is turned on.

I'm stumped. Does anyone have an suggestions or know what could be wrong? :o

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried going on the o2 website on the computer and clicking to send the phone the internet settings. ( although usually only an issue if its an unbranded phone / not locked to o2 )

I have just noticed that on o2 you just text ACTIVE to 2020 for them to resend the settings.

Hello. Thank you. I tried that but it still doesn't work. :(

Assuming that the phone didn't come setup for o2, you will need to enter the correct settings for the o2 connection, both for web and MMS, and as keith1950 says, the easiest way is to get them sent to your phone.
The other thing to check is if your PAYG package includes web - not all of them do.
