I'll pop one in the fridge to taste later, if as good as most Rosemounts are I will go buy another couple of cases.

Bought some of the Shiraz a couple of days ago, its a drinkable red, not up to the usual Rosemount quality but it's Rosemount 'selected' not their own produce which generally means its bought in and they've blended and then bottled it. It's an OK everyday red, would def recommend a case at these prices. Just had Italian for dinner and a glass of this was just fine with it, though i suspect would go much better with a big fat steak done on the BBQ

and to add, after more extensive testing it holds up very well against slightly more expensive wines, it's very much like Yellowtail Shiraz or a Lindemans which retail at a couple of quid more a bottle. For under £3.50 it's a definite goer. Like many Australian wines, it doesn't have the class of it's european counterparts but it certainly has the body!

And thats as lyrical as I can wax over a 3 quid-odd vino, lol.
