She has now edited it but too little, too late.

Exactly. The OP's post should have made that clear but it didn't.

The below quote was in the original post, I fail to see how difficult it is to understand how these pads are used. Seriously, how is this not clear?
The pads fit into discreet pockets in the underarm areas of their teeshirts and poloshirts

If you read the OP but didn't understand that rather unchallenging sentence, it's hardly my fault.

But - go ahead and b**** some more if you like. I'm glad I've given you something to fill your time.

It said they fitted in pockets in their t-shirts but it didn't say they could only be used in that way. I could well see someone getting them to try out.

That's hugely picky I have to say. I explained what they were and how they work - they are pads that fit into underarm pockets of the same brand of shirt. Seriously, why should I have pointed out that they can't be used for any other purpose?

If they could be used with any brand of shirt then I would have said that, same as I would have mentioned it if they were good to tile the bathroom with or paint little white lines down the middle of the road.

My OP wasn't ambiguous - everyone else understood it. I honestly don't know why I'm actually wasting my time explaining all this to you - this is exactly why there are so many ridiculous disclaimers everywhere you turn. ie - 'may contain nuts' on the packaging of peanuts. It's really only commonsense that was missing.

As I've said before I never even ordered them as this is not one of my problems. To me and probably others although they could be used in the t-shirts that does not necessarily negate the use of them without. Quite clearly everyone didn't understand it or they wouldn't have ordered them.

I've already answered this in my last post, I'm not going to waste time going around in circles so I will spell it out for you one last time.

I explained exactly how the pads are used - you didn't grasp the idea, I get that, and that's ok. As far as I'm concerned I explained clearly in the title of this thread that it's for people with a disease called Axillary Hyperhidrosis. I don't actually see why I should explain myself to you, seeing as you're in a thread on a subject you know nothing about - and I'm at a loss as to why you're turning this into such a big issue.

The very people I was aiming this thread at helping would actually have understood. You don't have the disease so you don't understand, that's hardly my fault. For instance, if you were a chef, would you walk into a DIY shop and start having a go because you don't understand what they're talking about, when they're not even aiming the conversation at you?

You're making it into something it isn't because of YOUR lack of knowledge and understanding of this disease. That, as far as I'm concerned, is the end of it.

I'm not making it into something actually you are propbably because you are angry at those who ordered without realising they would be useless without the t-shirt. The people with this condition some of whom ordered these pads obviously aren't able to discern what you thought you were saying.

I now have added you to my ignore list as you have been very defensive and intransigient.:wall::wall::wall::wall:

Who wouldn't become defensive when someone who knows nothing about the subject wades in and has a go because it's something they don't understand?

Also, the way you not-so-subtly turned it into my fault that you didn't understand and projected your anger onto me. Nobody had mentioned anger before that so it was obviously on your agenda. I'm not angry, I just don't like ignorance. People with any illness have better things to do than be heckled by someone who a) has no knowledge of their disease, b) products used for it and c) an inability to read a simple sentence.

This thread concerns you as much as a thread about manufacturing double glazing concerns me - but the difference is, I wouldn't presume to tell people they don't know what they're talking about if I happened to wander into their thread. If you wish to block me on that basis then you have my full support. You're no real loss to me.
  • I use these products as I have quite a few of their poloshirts and undershirts. The absorbent pads soak up excess underarm sweat and they keep your clothing free of sweat patches and stains. The pads fit into discreet pockets in the underarm areas of their teeshirts and poloshirts IYSWIM? I'm not very good at explaining! Their website explains it better :D

The teeshirts and poloshirts are German/Swiss made so great quality and the fabric is really comfortable. I bought my first shirt three years ago and it still washes up like new.

Trial pack of absorbent inserts/pads for underarm (axillar) sweating.

ETA: I just wanted to emphasise that the underarm pads are made *specifically* for their shirts. They don't have any other uses because they're too small to make effect sweat shields out of and there's no way of attaching them to your clothing or skin unless you're wearing their shirts.

Please don't order unless you or someone you know has Hyperhidrosis and you think this might be a good solution for your underarm sweating. It's not fair on anyone if people order items they don't need just because they're free - it will eventually increase the prices for those of us who really need products like this and it's not very eco friendly either.

    Thanks guys :)

    hello

would love the freebie but understand people can be a bit careless about what they order, i have suffered with this problem for years now and did not know the t-shirts existed.
please can anyone send me a link to the website if they know it so i check out the shirts.
    thanks
