How can I find out more about working in Dubai or UAE?

I am thinking about this, and hear there is the opportunity to earn well out there. Any first-timers advice, websites to , experieinces to share etc?

A friend of ours worked for several years in UAE, and has now worked recently for the last 5-6 years in Saudi Arabia. At the momemt he works at the King Fayed University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) as an English teacher.
He has been well satisfied with both locations and has loadsa(tax-free)money.
I don't know how to find things out officially, this is just my friend's experience.
Hopefully someone will come along soon who knows more.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I had many nursing friends who had good experience working in Saudi etc. Usually the professional publications advertise and give information.
