Tesco chickens half price at £2.50 each.

in It's gone, but was it any good?
Just got back from Tesco at Pitsea and they had whole chickens on the meat counter where they serve you for £2.50 each.

For anyone who cares, there was a red tractor symbol with them.

    Was this an offer price or just a reduction because they had too many?

    I do care and I believe that the Red tractor means very little.

    The are on the fresh counter (not reduced to clear) bought 2 today at Middleton Manchester
    SA said this offer was until tuesday (or thats what she thought)
