M&S Mattresses - any good?

I'm looking for a new pocket sprung matrress, no memory foam and one that is turnable.

I spotted this in M&S:
M&S Autograph Luxury 2000 Mattress

I want to get a decent mattress and, OK it's a lot of money coming in at £800 after the discount is applied, but if I'm actually getting over £1100 worth of mattress it might be worth considering.

Does anyone know who makes M&S mattresses and if they are any good compared to other similarly priced makes?

I'll have a look into the spec when I have a little more time.

But your not £1100 worth of mattress, your getting £800 worth of mattress. The sales are a hype, it's all about giving the customer a reason to buy. Looks like the sales are still working and I thought people had started to wise up.

Spec seems about right for a £800 mattress, it's not worth much more, but then it's M&S prices.

Have you tried it out? or just seen it online? As it's a lot of money to spend on a product that you may not be able to send back.

Hand-stitched edging or side stitching products are nearly always good, proper craftsmanship involved in the production.

I'm also looking into the M&S double matresses as I have amassed some vouchers recently.

Have to admit I'm torn between the Autograph Luxury 2000 (£529), Pillowtop 1500 Latex (£284) and Memory Revolution 250 (£284)!

I've previously used a decent memory foam which was very good, but I'm wondering whether the pillowtop latex or the luxury 2000 will be better.

Is the Luxury one, which doesn't appear to have any latex/memory foam layer but is handmade/etc worth nearly twice what I'm paying for the other two?
