Would you STOP IT with the insults now please???
can i suggest that you think before you write stuff? you were blamimg mse'rs and martin lewis for the tesco website crashing. it wasnt our fault. they have said it was their server.
we will defend martin and this website as they are wonderful and has saved us many £'s.life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
No need to get PERSONAL!!!
I haven't INSULTED anyone ... all I'm saying is we ALL know that once anything has left the forums ang goes in the mass MSE e-mail its going to get a HUGE response ... It makes sense!!
Its happened before , and will happen again
cazza, I agree with you. I'm sure not everybody will agree with me either. But I don't agree with the mass email either. It only benefits Martin (loads of traffic) and those who only pop in from time to time, and have their name on a list.
In the meantime all of our ideas, tips, loopholes etc., end up known to millions.
I wouldn't miss the email one bit if it was stopped. But many occasional lurkers and Martins company would.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Martins' website is only as good as those on it. We bring to Martin and his team, the deals, in most cases. Sadly when his email goes out, it often brings those deals to an end.
I'm all for sharing with regular members, but not mass emailing millions with our ideas!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
the facebook page has turned into some sort of dating agency now. 2 people were slagging each other off and are now flirting. bucket of ice water is on order!!life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

i dont like the email either actually, but the original post causing this was not blaming the email-receivers who just use it for deals - it was blaming all of us (regulars as well). Plus it wasn't said on here, it was on Facebook, in front of thousands of people. When DTD was on and people were getting the "oh, your 'one of those' are you?" and the "its that martin lewis website" comments by the trouts, this just, in my mind, spreads that mentality by saying to a load of random people on facebook "its all Martin Lewis's fault". so i agree with the sentiment but i think what was said and the delivery of it wasn't right. IMO obviously
