Help! Georgie Giraffe has escaped from Woburn Safari Park.
He's roaming the County trying to find his way home and we want you to let us know if you see him.
So if you are out and about between Monday 25th and Friday 29th July and spot him, we need you to text in and let us know.
He has our text number printed on him (you really won't be able to miss him) so just text the word ‘SPOT’ to 82122.It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0 -
I'm going into hospital tomorrow for the 3rd attempt at my op. If it all goes ahead I'm gonna need a lovely person to cover Best for me until I come home. It could be up to a month but I'm hoping for a week (Yeah right!)
Only just seen this - all the best Daphne, hope it goes well.

Interesting is this legal to offer "buy 2 get one free" for a prize draw, my understanding from a few years ago was that when running a prize draw all entries had to be the same price. (I remember being visited by the police to check whether I was OK for my name to be the promoter on the tickets). The tickets were 50p but I was told I couldn't sell 5 for £2!!
I know at summer fayres etc when you buy a several strips of raffle tickets there is usually extra tkts but for a formal draw are they allowed to offer incentives to get you to enter more than once.
I've had a scan of the Gambling act 2005 but I'm none the wiser as to what these radio Txt competitions actually are - are they a lottery or a game of skill?
You are absolutely correct. I arrange raffles for my daughters school, so know that you cannot offer reduced / free tickets.
All tickets have to be priced the same to allow it to be fair.
However, for this I wouldn't have a clue..... you could say the same for ITV competitions..... free online, or 3 for 2 on the phone...... not sure what the law on that isThanks to all posters :A0 -
