hi not sure if this is the right place.

Is there anyone who uses the quidco check in app for iphone ?

I found out about it yesterday, went for a walk and the shops i passed i made 55p.

I went to a different place today, the shops showed up earlier but when i got there the shops didn't show to check in. I'm wondering when the shops shut, maybe they turn of the check in so it stops people claiming money when the shop isn't open?

Are you trying to check in to the same shop? i.e New Look in one shopping centre then trying to check in to another New Look in a different centre?

If so, it doesn't allow that...you can only check in once every 2 weeks with most.

As for the opening times, I have no idea although I think that might be too difficult to do so don't reckon it's that.

I've had the Quidco app for a couple of weeks after seeing a recommendation here. Some shops do come and go with opening and closing times, this was particularly noticeable the first weekend the app was running when they had a few bars on as their opening times were different from the shops. I've also noticed that the number of times you can check in is quite fluid - the only shop that's close enough to me to check into regularly is New Look, where I can go several days checking in every day then have a day or two when it doesn't appear. I don't know whether it's possible to check into a different branch of the same shop on the same day as I've never been anywhere to try it.

I think they do turn them off when the shops close. I have noticed that Halfords and New Look is sometimes not on there with the deal. But I think it is still a really great app with a lot of potential. I have earned £0.95 in a couple of days and have a further £1.50 on the Quidco site awaiting confirmation. I just wish more shops used the system.
