How can they sell this food so cheaply?

prob the chicken meals etc might be mis-weights, or the label codes might be wrong...or not enough pieces of chicken etc its not that they are making money on them, they are losing loads, what they are doing rather than throw them in hte bin, they are selling them for 50p, basically something is better than nothing...

You normally find these types of places have a shop or counter to sell to their staff, normally the general public are not allowed to buy in them

there is one of these 'shops' next to the Sun Valley factory in Hereford near the racecourse - on Yazzor Road i think

you get whole chickens for a few quid, chicken portions (plain or flavoured) in plastic bags for 25p/50p, chicken based supermarket branded ready meals (chicken curry, chicken in white wine sauce, chicken wrapped in bacon, .........) These are usually 25p or 50p a tray.
they also do frozen products (the chicken popcorn you get at KFC for £1 for 10 small portion bags).

Sometimes its hit and miss whats available. we live about 30 miles away so just pop by when in town. I know people who live closer that do a lot of their meat shopping there
