I'm usually the sensible one with money but...
I signed up to Naked Wines last week as I had a £40 voucher from Clintons and ordered a mixed case of 12 wines which worked out to £4.70 a bottle including postage. All good! Then, NW gave me a £40 credit so I thought it would be a shame to waste that money so I bought another mixed case of 12, working out about £4.99 a bottle. A bit impulsive but still MSE I felt.
They've now given me a further £20 credit, so I'm considering one last purchase of a case of 6 wines, working out around £4.50 a bottle. My husband thinks I have misunderstood the nature of moneysaving and says I should just lose the imaginary £20 and stop filling our house with wine.:rotfl:
I should add that we only drink about a bottle a month at home so I've probably bought close to 2 years worth in the last 4 days.
It seems such a waste of money not to use the credit though!!! Our usual wine buying strategy is to spend £4-£5 but buy the one with the biggest discount in the supermarket. NW seems to be slightly better value though and offers something a bit different and perhaps more ethical as it's direct from the winemakers.
Shall I spend the £20 and consider it a prudent investment or quit while I'm 'ahead'??? All opinions gratefully received!!!

I'd leave it... let the voucher die. I'm sure if you leave it long enough you'll get another £40 voucher0

Agree- wait for the next better voucher. Or if it never comes go back to the supermarket (especially if having 12 bottles in the house means that you drink them more quickly than just one from the supermarket?)Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0

They are obviously going to keep giving out lower vouchers unless you stop using them. If you don't use the voucher you will save the money you would have spent to use it. Also, they could actually come back with a better offer if you leave it for a while, after all you can wait for a couple of years! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
