Not sure if this is in the right place but don't shoot me if it's not
Basically I have bought a lot of stuff off of Ebay recently to make jewellery with from different sellers and used Paypal to pay (the funds would come straight from my bank/debit card through Paypal). The other day I get a load of emails saying all my transactions have failed. I sorted that out with my bank fine. Anyway so my account balance went into minus (-£15) and then today I get two more emails from paypal saying that my bank had reversed two payments - now taking my PP balance into -£25. I rang my bank to find out what had happened and she said that there was no reversal nor any reason for the transaction to be declined. So I have yet to ring paypal as I am at work but just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
I have emailed the two sellers of which I bought the items that the transactions have been reversed to let them know what's going on but I am so confused as I have at least £250 in my bank account at the moment.

Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago and after talking to paypal and my bank i found out i had cancelled a DD because i didn't recognise the name on it when in fact it was a DD set up by paypal and any person i buy from their ID shows on the DD as the name rather than paypal - seems thats the way they work, so cancelling that i had in fact cancelled any payments from paypal in or out of my account. Hope that helps.

I have spoken to paypal and my bank and originally it was becasue I had cancelled the direct debit, but I had it reinstated on Tuesday but I think perhaps all my transactions are bouncing since before then if you see what I mean. But now Paypal are saying that the direct debit has expired because it was set up in 2006.. well I didnt even KNOW there was a DD before I found it on my bank account the other day so am thoroughly perplexed lol. Think it might be simpler to just put funds into my paypal account before I buy anything. The truth is out there... and I want to believe0

paypal set up a DD when they take payment, you authorise this within their T&C's
It always shows up as a DD on the statement too.
I keep a CC just for paypal with a sensible small limit on it.
I would be VERY wary about linking paypal to a bank account, there have been horror stories of paypal disputes and frozen accounts etc
try notopaypal on google and read in disgustSealed pot challange no: 3390 -
Oh god really?
Its been so long since I even set up my Paypal and added my bank to it.
Anyway I think it is sorted now - I just have to wait for the negative balance to clear -gah-The truth is out there... and I want to believe0
