AQA Advertising for UK researchers

Hi All

Further to an old thread on here regarding AQA - they are advertising for UK researchers today.

Do you know anything about this? I am interested in this but i have a full time job and woudl want to to it in my spare time - is this possible?
  • Hi efrieze,

As far as I know you can do as much or as little as you like and could definitely do it for an hour or two after work. The selection process is pretty stiff and you need to pay attention to spelling and punctuation as well as answering the questions. (Not implying anything - just going from what i read in the old thread when many people were rejected because they hadn't checked their applications before sending).

I just found out today I got a job with Aqa. Sent my application to them when they advertised UK jobs in error.

I am so made up I can earn some extra money, plus I won a Pigsback competition as well. Things are looking up :)

  • thanks !
    have applied :)
  • Congrats Tiff - let the good times roll!!!!
  • I've been with them since the end of July. When you get your test questions, spelling and grammar are just as important as the content - they are really hot on spelling.

I applied at same time as Tiff and I AM IN YEEEEAAHHHHHAAAAA!!
What a relief - felt like forever waiting to find out!! I am really, really excited!!
  • I haven't applied yet - only just seen the ad and came straight on here as I know that AQA sometimes only advertise UK vacancies for a few hours.
I've just checked my email and have had an automated response saying that the application form will be with me in the next few days and I should complete asap as they've had a huge number of applications.
Looks like I know what I'll be doing on Christmas Day!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (after I've spent all morning and half the afternoon in the kitchen, of course  )
