Nationwide Loan
After reading Martin's email today, I applied for the Nationwide loan and it was declined. My wife has not been working since March this year, we have a largish credit card debt and the lower repayments would have given us some breathing space.
I am not too concerned about the decline, but Martin's email said this application does not leave a mark on your credit score yet the message said they used they used Experian to check our details.
Can anyone enlighten me on this matter.
regards
Ted

I believe if you check your credit file you will just see a quotation search not an application for credit search on your file. And I believe these are not visible to other lenders/potential lenders who look at your report.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Yep, difference between 'soft' search and 'hard' search;
