CL Finance and credit file

Hi

I have a debt that sold approx 2 years ago to CL Finance. Now I have been paying them every month but on my credit file they show the number 6 (as in 6months or more in arrears) even though I am paying them every month.

Is this correct? On call credit it shows as DM and equifax just has a red 6.

Thanks for any help.

Even though you are paying them regularly is this less than the original contracted amount you would have paid to the original creditor. If you are over 6months behind from the original contract then yes they can show this.
