Hi,
Thanks to all who have responded. Have written to them with a full I & E and also included text from standard F & F letter on debt guidance website.
Just one more point on a charging order, since I cannot pay the full amount owed. Would Ihave to go to Court for this? And if they got this, would Link have to accept the reduced monthly payments until I sold my house, which I am not planning to do anyway!
Thanks0 -

Well done on the letter and I&E - should certainly help.
Re the charging order; if they do pursue this then it will be in your best interests to attend court and put your case forward, generally the court will err on the side of the borrower not lender so being there is very important. If they are sucessful obtaining a charging order then it is unlikely they will go for the forced sale of your home and at that point probably will accept reduced payments.0
