Looks good have you used one of these, and if so are they any good?
  • Looks really good. I had a JML one which did not last very long at all because the bulb went and are apparently not a diy job so I spent £50 on an Andrew James one with the same description as the one you mention but mine had AN EASILY REPLACEABLE SPARE BULB with it. Really good price though.

I bought one from Thane which has broken before the end of the 1 year manufactures warranty so it is going back. Hoping they fix or replace it as I love it, just annoying that they don't seem to last longer than a year.

This one from Dyas which has a two year warranty is probably a better deal.

I've have had mine since November and use it nearly everyday. It's already paid for itself with the amount of electricity I've saved. It cooks things quicker than a normal oven and you can even cook things from frozen.

I've had two of these now and neither lasted over 6 months. Lost the receipt with my first one, but the 2d came from Aldi with a three year guarantee, so just need to call them up (I hope!).

I would suggest that you buy one with an easily replaceable bulb as they don't seem to last very long, other than that, they're great.

I am on my second one of these.First one the bulb went after 18months.,then i bought the Flavorware one with hinged lid, they are fab cutting the cooking time down and saving electricity too.I do a sunday joint and dry roast potatoes in it most weekends and it cooks bacon and sausages a treat as well,as the fat drains away.

I clicked through from the link and it is now priced at £22.99, which is a £57 or 71% saving on original price of £79.99 and also I see that shipping is £12.99 - making total cost £35.98

Having said that, I wouldn't be without my halogen oven (Cookstore from Ideal World) though I agree with the comments about their short life due to bulb going
