Seemingly even johnnie isn't recession proof.
I totally agree - very poor sizing, fabric quality and cut. I bought one top on the deal of the day a couple of months back and DD asked if it was Peacocks  (no offence to Peacocks
).
Had a look but in all honesty it all is still overpriced IMO so will wait for 2nd reductions - usually in about 2 weeks (but bearing in mind the early sale who knows?)

Thanks - Just used my Living Social voucher that I bought a couple of months ago. Got a dress and a pair of capri pants for my daughter for £29.00, so paid £4.00 today.0

I spent £410 last night. Some of it I wouldn't order as it was cheaper with discounts before the sale. When it goes down again I'll get the rest on my wish list. I have next year's summer clothes for my son and for a change some things for Mr shoe. Hopefully it will all be ok - I sent half back in the last sale.0

Oops have managed to spend over £100 in Boden Sale! Have always been a big Next fan but have to say that I've noticed a big drop in the quality of many of their clothes over the years and I find Boden quality much better although theres quite a large difference in price too - so great to get Boden quality at sale prices

I spent a hundred quid+ too.
I like Boden better than new modern Next. I don't find the newer next stuff washes or wears well where as the Boden boys stuff seems good quality, possibly better than the girls stuff? But would never pay full price. And even at half price its saved for best.0 -
I got an email about 2 hours into the sale and managed to get what I wanted: just a couple of pairs of leggings (the quality is superb this season!), a pair of child's sandals for me (they go up to size 39 and are sooo pretty and cheap
) and a t-shirt. All for £45 delivered!
I usually have a hard time limiting myself amongst all the lovely skirts and dresses, but I was really unimpressed this year so am sticking to basics.0 -
I didn't know the kids shoes went up so high in size. Shame there's none left now but there will be plenty of returns so I'll keep an eye out. Thanks.0
