Mothercare Kids Clothes Reductions

Got the heads up from a SA today that from tomorrow all the new kids clothes (T-shirts, shorts etc) are going to be reduced instore.

I was in collecting my glitch HappyLand items and went to buy some clothes as well. She advised me to leave it until tomorrow as all the new lines are to be reduced. She did not say by how much or if it will be online as well but I thought it was really nice of her to tell me. She even laid aside the sale jacket that I was away to buy as well.
We need more SA like her in Tesco lol.

This was in Aberdeen but I presume it will be all stores.

Hth :)

mothercare are not going to do school clothes anymore so they are getting rid of all stock according to my local shop... good to know about a possible sale tomorrow, will definitely be popping in as I have still to collect my half price 2 for 1 duvet sets :)

    Thanks for this OP. :j
I went intoday to collect 9 orders (from the happyland and arts & craft glitches) I had delivered to store. On the way to the till I managed to acquire several sale items - mostly summer dresses and lovely little tops. I realised I had forgotten to take along my £5 off £30 spend voucher but as 2 of my orders were too big for me to take away with me (a toddler and buggy) and I need to go back again tomorrow evening (late night shopping) the sa said she would put the clothes aside for me (which is not normal practice for sale stock).

So just need to remember the voucher tomorrow!!

I also checked online and quite a lot of what's on sale in store is still full price online!! If you intend to make the most of this sale, better to go in store than to look online.

    HTH.

Where are people getting the £5 off £30 voucher? Is it the one you have to print off or were they sent to your home address?

  • How much are things reduced by instore? e.g what kind of prices were the dresses? Just wondered whether its worth a trip into town today or not?

From 30% up to 50% off.
2 pack of shorts I picked up are 50% off but most dresses are 30% off.
I didn't look at boys bits as I have 2 girls so can't help there.

  • I went to Mothercare this morning and to be honest there was not much there at 50% off, mostly 30% discounts, I only looked at girls stuff though.

I did however buy my daughter the green dress I was so tempted to buy last week for £11 - it was £5.50 today!
