  • I've only just bought wedding insurance with dreamsaver this week, had a good read though the documents and it all looks fine. Hopefully it's something I'll never have to use though :D
Do good deeds and you could raise the curtain, do good deeds and you could really raise your life....
  • Just to reply to the threads previously, my partner and I had a Diamond Plan with Dreamsaver Wedding insurance for our Civil Partnership which takes place in April.
Regretably we have had to raise a claim for the full payment of our Venue Hire due to it going out of business!
So far Dreamsaver staff have been very helpful and with a little assistance from us seem to be coming up trumps with our claim.
Due to the nature and ammount the claim has been approved by them and is now with the Underwriters, i will let this forum know if we have any problems obtaining our claim but like I siad so far so good and I would recomend anyone to take a policy out we would have lost an incredible ammount of money had we not have.
Good luck to all future Brides, Grooms and Civil Partners:rotfl:
  • Hi,

I'm not sure how to start a new thread so I've picked the thread as close to the topic I'm interested in! Basically, I have wedding insurance which I took out a few months ago. I bought a sample wedding dress and needed to get it dry cleaned so I called my insurance company (E& L) to ask if anything went wrong with the cleaning would I be covered? I wouldn't have been but that's fine as the dress went through cleaning fine.

Anyway, a few days ago my friend came over and I showed her my dress but as it was hung up, her daughter tripped and spilled Ribena all over it, I'm contemplating sending it to be dry cleaned again but I fear it is destroyed. If I try to claim, given that I called them only a few weeks ago about dry cleaning are they likely to reject my claim?

I don't know what to do, my dream dress, possibly destroyed...
