Hi there,
Does anyone know where I can buy a small/personal tea/coffee urn?
I am looking for one for my grandmother -- so it only needs to serve 4-6 cups not 20-50+!
She has weak wrists so I thought the 'tap-style' water dispenser who be much easier than struggling to lift a heavy kettle.
Does anyone know where I can find a personal urn then?
Much obliged. Thank you.

The urns all seem to be catering size, but if she has weak wrists, what about this:-

Consultant, you are terrific!!
This is actually what I REALLY wanted but didnt think they were available.
Does anyone know a shop in London (pref. west or central) that sells Kettle Tippers and the like? I'm a little worried if I order it tomorrow (Thurs 21st) I wont get it in time for Christmas...
Thanks again! Brilliant.0 -
If I were you I would look in specialist disability shops. There is a mobility centre in Harrow - I can't find it online but Harrow Association of Disabled would know - their phone number is 020 8861 9920 . I haven't been in the shop for years, but the last time I went in they had a range of disability aids. In any case, HAD or your local disability centre are likely to know where you can buy a kettle tipper.
PS I found them! And it is a walk in shop (ring before you go though) http://www.mobilityworld.co.uk/store.aspx?cp=566&item=Kettle+Tippers
There is also a big wheelchair display store on the A40 on your left as you go out of London (around the Park Royal area). Can't remember their name but I bet they have other aids too!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
