Hi i graduated in 2008 and have not worked since as myself and my husband decided to expand our family. I am currently a full time mum and will be untill my youngest starts nursery around 2 years time. That means it will 5 years since i graduated. My husband works full time to supposrt us.
Does anyone know what happnes with my loan? I never hear anything from them!! Am i being charged interest untill i start work? And also what if i never work again?
Any help would be much appreciated

yes you are being charged interest
you can access your a/c online
your loan will be written off if not repaid by the time you are 65
you can find out more by accessing the very very badly designed SLC website0 -
The "Guide to Student Loans" from their website answers all those questions.
