There are two dates for the M&S Sale...

Options
The online sale starts on the 25th December and the instore sale starts on the 27th December.

All the usual departments such as ladieswear, kidswear, lingerie, home etc.

A lot of the merchandise is going to have up to 50% off with some items having up to 75% off.

There are some great bargains going into the sale, especially on coats and jackets but as usual they always go really fast and there is always an element of luck in getting the right sizes!

M&S usually do their sale in phases, so phase 1 is on now, the next one will prob be mid Jan.

When I find out the dates then I will post it. Problem is they keep on changing their minds over when to have the next phase of reductions. It mainly depends on how much stock they have left.

Someone else who works in stores or H/O might hear something 1st but I don't want to post until I know for definite.

Does this mean there are likely to be more sale items available in January?

I have been all through the mens suits today trying to find a suit in my son's size, but no matching jackets and trousers available in the right sizes! Is it worth keeping on checking?
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

Teenage_Drama, you are right. I have just been told that M&S have planned the next set of reductions for Jan 2nd. The sale has done very well so far so if you have your eye on a particular item then be aware that it may have sold out by the time they reduce the prices more.

I would. I picked up three suits for my son on Wednesday morning and took two back today which didn't fit him. So I would say yes keep looking as I am sure there are other people like me who buy and return. Staff said thank you to me for returning them so promptly;).

    EDIT:
Incidentally Thurrock have loads of suit rails if anyone is looking for a suit and is near there!
