A quick question

Can someone tell me what all the abbreviations are:? I think I figured dtd = double the difference, and maybe sa=sales assistant, what are the others like sel? and trout. I am a relative newbie here and to tesco.
love all the help everyone gives each other. Thank you

'SEL' is 'shelf edge label' - the one that has the price & sometimes offer expiry date etc. on.

'Trout' - now therein lies a story :rotfl:
A name 'affectionately' (not!) given to Tesco Employess, usually female & middle-aged, who are 'on a mission'! They think that 'DTD', 'JTD', Coupons & pretty much any offer in favour of the Consumer, will be coming out of their personal Bank Account.
They are instantly recognisabale - they usually look like they've been chewing on a wasp & look at/speak to customers like something nasty they've just trodden in!
'Customer Service' to them means treating the customer like a criminal!

The moral of this story is if you want to use any type of coupon or benefit from a Tesco Glitch - avoid the Trouts at all cost & try & pick a young Checkout Assistant who looks like they don't give a t*ss (i.e. they have a life!)

I wonder if there is a way the techie team on here could implement something so that when an abbrev was typed the meaning would come up in a speech bubble or pop-up?

An abbreviated that confused me for ages was dh, ds and dd - I got the 2nd letter - h for husband, ect but was always a bit baffled at the D infront of it. I came to the conclusion that it's darling husband, darling son, darling daughter..
