A local deli here used to sell savoury ham.. they went bust several years ago and I am desperate but can't find it anywhere..
Yes it was the manky ham mushed up, mixed with herbs and squashed into a cylinder and sliced ...
Any ideas where on the planet might have it? I have tried the local deli's and supermarkets..
Hellup..

It sounds like luncheon meat or chopped ham? You can buy that in tins I think Princes make it.Dum Spiro Spero0

no it isn't either of those.
I've never known it be tinned or prepacked.. only fresh

Not anything like brawn, is it? Probably barking up wrong tree but was estatic when I found that in Morrisons - trouble was it wasn't that great after comparing it to my dads HM as a kiddie.

It sounds as if this could have been a recipe the deli themselves devised. It's not something I remember ever seeing anywhere either. Is it something you could try and make yourself by mincing up ham leftovers (usually to be found cheap on supermarket deli counters) and mixing with herbs and maybe a bit of grated cheese. Then compress into a small loaf tin and slice. If not, then I hope someone can help you out as it's frustrating remembering something you once enjoyed and finding it's no longer available!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

It hasn't been available for years that I've noticed.. but at 6 months pregnant I NEED it for some unknown reason.
Brawn .. no... thank you..
I suppose I'll live

Hi pigpen,
As you haven't found a solution on the Old Style board I've moved your thread over to the grocery shopping board to see if anyone there can help.
