Humph. What's one of those? We don't have those new fangled things in our drawer. Just the old fashioned type ;).
I reckon if we start removing the lid after breakfast, it'll be lovely and hot for teatime!

bit confused is it online or instore?
because i could nip into the store on my way home from work tonight (finish at 11pm) but surely if you order online tonight you wont get the offer if theyre delivered another day?
Everything is always better after a cup of tea

Woops, quite a few replies. Glad I've helped some people get a bargain.:) As I said in my first post, you really need(ed) to get them today to try and get the glitch as it seemed to be the old £1 each until 27th June being replaced by the 3 for 2 offer (on re-priced £2 per tin) starting on the 27th June;)

I think people are getting confused about the online bit. I only mentioned this as it was through an online order I received TODAY. I very much doubt that it will work on online orders not RECEIVED today.

jumblejack: If you buy 3 tins at £1 each it will take off £1 as you will only be paying for 2 of them.

I got 3 at £1 this eve, but no 3 for 2 so dtd makes them £1 for 3, very pleased!

Not quite sure how you managed to get dtd as they should be £2 a tin for the 3 for 2 promotion, so well done!

hi sorry if this sounds silly but if i buy the pies on line for delivery tomorrow will i get charged todays prices? :)
    thank u in advance

I very much doubt it as the online price and promotion is now £2 a tin and 3 for 2.

The glitch happened due to the cross-over from one price to another.

    interesting
I commented in a thread last week , about this happening on monday night / tuesday morning as the will likely run till updates
in stages this looks like another example so those who are out and about first thing on changeover day may be able to either take advantage of either a multibuy kicking in before mr T has updated ( or should that be increased!!!) it s prices for the multibuy,
or at worse get DTD back for a failed multibuy

you may need inside info to get the time window correct , over to the night hawks!

For people saying they are going to look for these instore tomorrow I did say in my first post that you really needed to go instore TODAY to try and get these. However, if you are going to Tesco anyway, it's worth checking, in case the SEL's haven't been changed - after all it is Tesco's we are talking about:D

Incidentally I manage to get the crust nice and crisp on top - needs quite a high oven temperature?
