Tesco trattoria verdi pasta sauce

Popped into Tesco on way home from work this morning and the Trattoria Verdi tomato and herb pasta sauce is 20p a jar.

I've tried this and it's great as a base, cheaper than passata !! I always add extra herbs garlic pesto etc.

Bargain so I bought 20 jars lol:j

They had reduced it to 17p in my local Tesco, but there were none left :(

I saw this in my Tesco's mid week and there was none left, but I went in at 7.30 this morning and there was quite a lot so I bought 6 jars. It is only the tomato and herb that's 20p though, all the others in the range are 90p.

As far as I can see, these jars are now 75p online, so I imagine they're also now that price in store.

Yes, these jars were still 20p in my local store today as well.

Price changes at Tesco often show a day early online (as you get delivery the following day at the soonest), so it may well be that the price will go up overnight.

They had taken the price off the shelf when I went to buy some yesterday.

They have gone up to 75p  so basically the same as the others in the range.
  • They were 20p in the Tesco near my work but they've since gone to 38p, so I imagine they'll be going up again shortly.
