Tesco Price Check spreadsheet

folks, i've spent today trying to get to grips with the concept of Tesco vs Asda pricecheck so that I can do it myself.
I now understand that (a) double the difference has finished (b) Tesco offset possible savings against other offers found on the receipt in question (c) They make it difficult to keep up / claim etc. (d) I've also found amongst everyones comments an extremeley informative entry by STEVEBIZ 12-04-2011, 1:16 AM TESCO / ASDA PRICECHECKER - PART 4 which points to a spreadsheet which appears to no longer be in use?
As so many of us are still using the system despite it ONLY being the actual price difference (due to store location difficulties etc), perhaps this could be reworked and actively updated again by an (army of) eager volunteer(s)?
Apologies if this is aready being done somewhere else but I haven't come across it. I would welcome anyone adding to this thread instructions and link info to achieve this idea rather than everyone having to wade through the forum for item tips? :j
many thanks in advance.

the spreadsheet "died" when tesco stopped the DTD. tesco are a law unto themselves about what items are applicable.life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

People are occassionally posting their price comparisons here....https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3202416
The thing is, prices have to be constantly checked as what compares one day may not do so the next, either due to stock issues or the fact that either store may have changed it's price overnight.0
