Hi all
I'm due to come out of a 5 yr fixed at 5.39% at the end of Nov and would like another fixed rate mtg but only for 2 yrs this time as may be looking to move in 2 yrs time. I have found a no. of lenders will let you secure a mtg now for draw down at the end of Nov to avoid my large redemption fee with my current lender.
Qn is should I be securing my mtg now or keep looking for the best deal as time goes on? And if I do secure now what is the best deal available? Every website seems to suggest a different product.
In Nov will have approx 94k to pay over 50% equity and 13 yrs term - thank you in advance!!

"Best deal" means something different to everybody really.
It depends on your situation and what other features you are looking for from the mortgage product i.e free legal fees, valuation, no arrangement fees, offset?
Based on the LTV you will have the pick of the market, as long as you meet the other lender criteria.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Sorry yes you are absolutely right. I mean best rate of interest on a 2 yr fixed taking into consideration fees which would add into the mortgage if there were any.0
