Hi All
I bought some reduced chicken drumsticks on 11 december as the bbe date was that day. I put them straight in the freezer when i got home.
Got them out on Monday night and put them in the fridge to defrost, went to use them yesterday evening and they were still frozen so decided to cook them today.
Have put them in the oven and have to say they dont smell too pleasant?
Please help do you think they are ok to eat???
Thanks

I think we have a nose for good reasons.... Unless it's meant to stink (cheese), stay clear of food that doesn't smell like it does.
Conversely, I have had in the past unopened tubs of yogurt or cream smelling and tatsing fine despite being slightly over the BB date, while an opened tub within dates stank!0 -
