They do a cheaper version in Family Bargains for 99p.

(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Cheaper isnt always best - especially when the difference is so small.

Thanks OP, I bought a cheap version yesterday in Wilkos and it pops off if any sort of water pressure happens... Have ordered!

I was waiting for the poundland etc price beater quote to appear :)

Have to say for the extra 50p this is a lot better than the one i got from our local cheap bargain shop.

I have to say I agree with the above posts even though it was me that posted about the cheap one. The only reason I got a couple of cheap ones was for spares up at the allotment, as everyone has had theirs' stolen. Even though I take mine there and back each day, it was easy to lose when not attached to the hose. I have to say though, my cheap ones haven't popped off once and seem to be doing the job for now.

I also bought this one with the aquastop valve for the business end of the hose - means you can disconnect easily without switching the hose off. £3.51

Along with this brass tap connector - £2.38
