Hi there money savers.
Can any of you help me? I'm after a sat nav for my car as I desperately need one for work. Can someone point me in the direction of where I can pick up a good quality one for £150 ish (i'd prefer TomTom One).
They are in currys for £183 so i'd be grateful of any discount codes for them.
Thanks,
Steve

Dixons online have the TomTom One for £174.37 with free delivery, if you use the code from the google adverts (which is 289848TOM)0

Don't forget to use an affiliate site such as Rpoints or Quidco to get extra cashback0

Thanks for taking the time to reply guys.
I've ordered one today, after seeing a post in the discount code section, for 10% off @ currys.
They're reduced to £159.99 anyway, with the code I got it for £143.99 with free delivery.
Happy days!0 -
BTW if you are interested in 10% off @ currys, this is a link to the thread.

my hubby's just bought a satnav from halfords, it is a navman satnav/pda (pin 570), £99.99, he saw it on the website and went instore today, they had none on display but when he asked, they had them squirrelled away upstairs. everywhere else they are over £200, he's just fiddling wth it now!"There is a light that never goes out"0

I want a Sat Nav but i Just dont know what to go for! A Navman or a TomTom... Is 1 for £100-£150 any good? Whats the benefit of spending £200+?

don't know if this helps - but my OH has a Tom Tom 500 and loves it. He travels a lot for work and says it saves him so much time. It is also a hands free for the car and as he spends most of his journeys on the phone this is a huge bonus. We've also just got a new car with a built in sat nav but haven't yet seen it is action.
By the way - we went to the US in April and the Tom Tom got us round there too - very useful in Yosemite in the pitch dark trying to find the cabin we'd rented in knee high snow!0 -
I bought one last night from Tesco Direct.
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.200-0909.aspx
It was reduced from £199.99 to £159.99 and as an avid collector of Clubcard Points it came with an extra 999 points plus I used a voucher code for 500 points on a £50 spend plus went through quidco which was worth £3.40 plus 159 points for buying the product plus 159 points for using my Tesco Platinum Card.
Approx 1800 points is worth £72 in Clubcard Deals so well under £99.
Just checked and 999 extra points offer has finished.

Just bought this yesterday. Stuck a blank 512mb SD card in and installed tomtom instead of that useless SmartST software.
I used to use a Siemens LOOX PDA as a satnav, this looks alot nicer, seems alot better made and has the advantage of the built in GPS receiver. So for £100 you get a tomtom satnav, aswell as a PDA!0 -
