not sure if I have posted this in the right area but here it is. We have a mortgage with an unsecured loan. we owe about 111000 on it and 7k loan. we paid 119k for it and it is now worth about 105k. We are struggling every month as the repayments are massive. My mum has gotten really ill recently and I have to move 100 miles to be near her. I have a good job but have made a lot of financial mistakes over the years and as such have gotten into debt. My new job starts in september so we need to be gone soon.
I am really confused about my options and the mortgage company were useless they just said they couldnt advise. from what I can see my options are
sell it but with early repayments etc we would owe a lot of money that we dont have.
rent it out which we couldnt afford to do
my question is about voluntary repossessions or assisted sale. would these potentially be options? I am getting so very stressed about all the mistakes I have made, my mums illness and how all this is going to affect my little boy. I hope someone can advise as even the mortgage advise bureau seemed uniterested because we werent looking to remortgage. we just want to get rid of the house and start again really
thank you in advance

Try and sell the property yourselves. Worry about the shortfall later.
Voluntary repossession whilst easier won't do anything to reduce the amount you owe. most likely will be far higher.0
